Ebb & Flow

I have just uploaded a new video documenting some of the progress made on probably my favorite new song to date called "From Now On"...  It features the cello recording sessions that in my opinion, is truly the icing on the cake for such an emotional canvas of sound.  I can't wait to polish this one up and release it to the world!  Check out the video to hear more about this tune...

This new album has proven to hold an inconsistent schedule – as I'm sure you have already gathered – as it's been competing with big wedding plans and other personal elements.  My partner, Glen Nadeau and I will be married in less than two weeks as of today and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate!  As a result of giving so much attention to my personal life lately, I have allowed myself a bit more "breathing room" with progress of this new album.  At first I felt guilty falling "behind" with my plans and usual goal-orietented discipline but I've found it to be an almost necessary "ebb and flow".  I have a habit of "over-listening" to rough demos to the point where I really start to loose an objective perspective on songs so life has been forcing me to take some necessary distance and helping me come back to songs with an open mind.

That said, I hope to get my feet wet again post-wedding and embrace the introspective Vermont winter months to come...  I tend to be a creative avalanche during that time of year so here's hoping!
Cheers,
Gregory
