It would delight me if some of you felt ambitious
enough to fill out the following survey regarding your musical tastes!
As an independent artist, I’m always looking for new avenues
to promote my music, so I’d like to know a little about where
you discover the music you like. I encourage you to reply to this email
with your answers & suggestions or just email me at: gregory@gregorydouglass.com
Who are you currently listening to?
Where do you purchase your music on the web?
Where do you purchase your music on land?
What radio stations do you listen to on the web?
What radio stations do you listen to in your car?
What music magazines or publications do you read on the web?
What music magazines or publications do you read at the home?
How do you discover new artists you like?
What venues might be a good fit for my music?
Any other suggestions you’d like to give me?

That's right kids, my very own Gregory Douglass iPhone App is now available : ) It's like I've died and gone to Apple heaven... Now you can keep tabs on all things Gregory Douglass wherever you are! Please note that the only reason I'm charging $1.99 on iTunes for this app is to eliminate annoying ads that would otherwise appear if the app was free... The app includes all the vitals like concert dates, videos, photos, music, blogs and even twitter updates. The music section isn't quite ready yet but it will include all of my songs with 30 second samples and direct links to iTunes for purchase... If you don't have an iPhone yet, let this be the icing on your iCake ; )

Monique Citro and I are hitting the Northeast this fall as the two-man orchestra that we have constructed and we want to come to YOUR HOUSE! House Concerts are great fun and much more affordable than you might think so if you're interested, please email me and I'll happily send you more details: gregory@gregorydouglass.com
You can also check out the "House Concerts" page on my website to get a better idea of how things work:

Don't be shy now...
Cheers,
Gregory

The LIVE "Virtual House Concert" Webcast Series is going strong and if you haven't tuned in yet, it's time! EveryMonday night at 9pm EST, folks tune in from all over to chat, make requests, ask questions and make new friends while listening to music. What better to do on a Monday night?
It's the next best thing to real house concerts but without any location limitations so long as you have a computer or an iPhone, thanks to the Justin.tv iPhone app: http://blog.justin.tv/justintv-iphone-app
Every webcast features Monique Citro on cello and a different co-host each week, consisting of my dearest friends and other fabulous indie musicians that you'll be glad to have discovered, I promise! This series is an online fund-raiser to help support the Gregory Douglass "2011 Album Release Campaign" so I implore you to please make a donation or consider pre-ordering at some point during the webcast. Remember that very donation counts to chip away at your pre-order package of choice so you can be sure to get some great rewards for your contributions!

If you haven't yet seen the campaign promo video parody depicting "starving artists" like myself, CLICK HERE and scroll down to the video for a hearty chuckle : ) Meanwhile, there's still ample time to pre-order the next full-length studio album as it is in full production! Lots of exciting new songs in the works and I am aiming for an early 2011 release date, but once again, it is necessary to raise enough money in order to make the release of this album possible, so I encourage you to contribute to the cause. A successful album release campaign is expensive and it's important that fans and contributors understand the kind of money that is involved.
Please check out the new Emote Records website to make your contribution: http://www.emoterecords.com/contribute. There are lots of ways to contribute and lots of great rewards and incentives you'll receive for your support! In fact, I have posted my budget online for all to see so folks know EXACTLY where the money is going, which is something I have yet to see ANY other artist do...
On behalf of everyone here at Emote Records, thank you for your tremendous support in helping to keep independent music alive!

I'm sorry to be a tease but the still image above is actually from a video that only "Campaign Club" members can access so... Please consider becoming a "Campaign Club" member : ) It's just one of many great incentives for pre-ordering the new album... If you opt for the "Close Pal" ($100) pre-order package, you'll get full access to the Gregory Douglass "2011 Release Campaign Club," featuring detailed video updates and sneak peaks of the new songs... The next best thing to being in the studio along with me as I tediously document every step of the way : )
I haven't posted a new public vlog in quite awhile as a result for all that I'm doing for the new album but I hope to be back on the wagon again this fall... In the meantime, please check out the complete Video Blog Series along with other Gregory videos at : http://www.youtube.com/user/gdouglass15
